We were able to match our 2009 Toys for Tots campaign funds through your donations of Toys R Us gift certificates, checks and nearly 300 new, unwrapped toys. We raised a total of $20,000.00 and were able to purchase an additional 1,500 toys. We provided a truly memorable Holiday for many of our local children and less fortunate families.

  We left Ocala in mid-October for a vacation in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. I was driving my 2000 Landrover Discovery that had recently been serviced at PatRicks Auto Repair.

I was about 120 miles from my destination (just S. of Clayton, Ga.) when I noticed a red light on my dash each time that I touched my brake pedal. I pulled to the side of the road, put the car in park, and checked the trailer that I was pulling. My wife was following me in another car and informed me that my brake lights were not working. After checking connections, etc., I got back in the car, cranked it and realized that it was locked in park. I was unable to put it in gear. I dug out my auto manual and understood it to tell me that I had a differential problem (due to the light that came on when I touched my brakes).

While I waited for AAA, I called PatRicks Auto repair and spoke to Leo Kasper. After my explanation to Leo, he was 90% sure that my problem was a broken brake switch and that it was a relatively easy fix, and even gave me a cost figure that it should cost. That figure was less than $200, and I started to feel a little better. Bottom line, Leo was exactly right. AAA towed my vehicle to my vacation home in Cosby, TN. A garage in Pigeon Forge hauled it to their location, repaired it and the cost was $220, and that included the tow charge from Cosby to Pigeon Forge. I am very pleased to do all of my auto repair business at PatRicks Auto Repair

  Just a little note to thank you again for your help. You all went out of your way to help us. We had no trouble coming home but of course the gas mileage was terrible. Ron put the truck up for sale on Craig’s List and in 3 hours it was sold. He bought a 2000 Dodge diesel and he's happy with it.
